1. About the “Fureai” free bus service
In Tochigi-City there is a “Fureai” bus service in 10 of the bus lines circulating the city for everybody’s use.
The fare for the bus is 100 yen for adults which increases by 100 yen each time a certain area is passed, The highest fare on a single route is 300 yen.
For children between 3 years of age and elementary school and disabled people and their caretakers, the fare is half-price.
In order to promote usage, it will be free of charge on all routes and all sections on Saturday, the 15th of June.
Please use this occasion to ride the Fureai bus to look around the city.
Additionally, the foreign language time table can be found at the traffic crime prevention section on the second floor of the city hall and the international affairs center.
2. About the implementation of Cool Biz
From May 1 to October 31 at the City Hall, air conditioners will be set at 28 degrees and neck ties and polo shirts will be optional as a part of Cool Biz.

3. About the Tsugano Sato lotus festival
From 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday, June 15th and Sunday the 16th, the "Tsugano Sato Lotus Festival" will be held Near the outdoor stage of Tsuga-no-Sato Furusato Center Park in Tsugamachi Usukubo,
About 1000 lotus flowers will bloom in the pond.
At the same time, water lily and hydrangea will also bloom.
There are various food shops at the venue and the participation fee is free.

4. About the Tochigi Hydrangea Festival
The "Tochigi Hydrangea Festival" will be held at Ajisaizaka of Ohira San Nature Park from mid to late June.
A total of 2500 hydrangea plants planted on both sides of the 1000 stone steps leading to the Ohira San Shrine from the front of the Ohira San Hexagonal Hall will bloom.
The rain makes the color of the hydrangea more vivid and can soothe the soul.
During the period of the festival, there is a charge for the Ajisai Saka parking lot and surrounding parking lots.
Also, please be careful with traffic since it can get crowded.
